With the advancements in technology, and websites like Zoopla, it is easy to look online and find websites that try to tell you how much your house is worth, but be careful – these websites take averages from house prices nearby and apply an algorithm to generate a figure. There is no substitute for a local estate agent with experience of your area and recent sales to back up their valuation for your peace of mind.
